 I’m Karen Myrie, founder of Karen Myrie Education Consulting. I’ve spent years helping families, students, and schools navigate the sometimes overwhelming world of special education. My passion is giving parents the clarity, confidence, and tools they need to advocate for their children—and supporting educators in creating meaningful, equitable learning experiences.​ I also will always love working with students, that where our tutoring comes in.

• NYC Special Education Liaison both District 2 and District 11.

• Certified in Restorative Practices Tier 1, SEL and Restorative Yoga Certification 200Hr

• NYC District representation & Special Education Department Manger.

I believe that education works best when families and schools are partners. My goal is to make the process understandable, actionable, and empowering—so no parent feels lost, no student feels unsupported, and no teacher feels unprepared.

 

Every child deserves a plan that truly meets their needs. Every parent deserves to be heard. And every educator deserves the strategies to make a difference. That’s what drives me every day.​
